Looking for new tires for me stock 20x9" wheels. Going to be running them in the winter so I want an at that is winter rated.

Narrowed it down to a few tires

Goodyear duratrac
Kanati trail hog (duratrac knockoff)
Bfg ko 2
General grabber at2

Any others I should look at?

Do you think I need a 10 ply LT tire? We see some pretty extreme temperatures (-30*F) and I tow some in the winter. A 6,000 pound loaded enclosed snowmobile trailer.

Thanks for any advice on these or other tires

BFG K02 seem to be a really liked and purchased tire. I had them on my 02 and they served me well. If you are in doubt, get a load range E and you should be good to go.

Not familiar with the other tires. Main thing is to keep them rotated for even wear. I do mine every 6k miles.

Sam's club had the best price down here. Not sure what is available up there or if Tire Rack is a good deal.

I've been running the General Grabber AT2 on my truck. I always get 10ply load range E on my truck. The tires are pretty decent for the price, but you have to rotate them or they wear out and you'll be replacing them at 40,000 miles. I'm hoping to get another set on my truck this Saturday. My truck is only a 2x4 and I can get around in snow with no problem what so ever.

I think I may be the only person in the world who wasn't impressed with the BFG AT, of course that was 30 years ago so maybe they've gotten better. Tread pattern still looks the same though :D

For year round use, the best snow traction I've found is the Nokian WR. I think they're up to G3 now, they come in an SUV size. Great in snow, awesome in the wet. Not sure they have the weight rating you need. I went with the Nokian Rotiiva, also snow rated but more of an all-terrain tread. They're very good in snow, my biggest hindrance I think is the steam-roller like width and open differential on my Dodge. They're expensive, but Norwegians know snow.

Liked all my Duratracs
I would not put a 10 ply on a 20 inch wheel on a half ton. Ruins the ride big time

If you can get ahold of them, I suggest the Toyo Open Country C/T's. The only time my dually has been stuck in mud, or snow, was when I power slide sideways into a mud hole in 2wd with the tires spinning in excess of 50MPH... I was past hub deep, lol.

Even unloaded, didn't need 4WD in the winter.

Think I'm going to go with toyo open country at 2 in my stock size. Not a 10 ply so I'll keep my ride and mileage lol. All the specs including the weight is the same as the wrangler hp stock tires. And they have a 65,000 mile warranty
