I don't carry enough shit around with me all at once to need something so intrusive but if I worked out of a truck, that thing would be on my short list. It's a very nice idea and looks fairly well executed.

^^^ Exactly. It would fit a lot of people's needs that work out of their truck.

I've seen a few home built designs, it would be great for camping combined with a cap and mattress on top. Only weighs about 200lbs, nice.

I suddenly want one, but I'm not entirely sure why.

I have a few buddies in the construction biz and they have built similar out of wood. It comes in pretty handy.

I like it. I think it would be very functional for lots of different uses.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
Seems like it'd render a lot of your truck useless. I mean, the drawers are handy and all, and I suppose the idea is that you could still haul plywood or drywall on top of the deck? :dunno:

I guess for a lot of cases it'd be handy. Certainly better than tossing all that crap loose in your bed

Yeah, you might have to tie something down that could have just flopped around in your bed before but if it's something you really cared about, it probably should have been tied down to begin with.
