I'm thinking about a new head unit. For just a little more than I can add-on Bluetooth I can buy a new head unit with Bluetooth and apple car play.

I'm looking for suggestions. I have mainly looked at pioneer.

Go to Crutchfield.com. That is where I got my system. They are great to deal with. I have had my unit for a while now and was having blue tooth issues, thinking it needed an update. Called Crutchfield up and they walked me through some troubleshooting steps, turns out it was my phone. No cost and they where polite and friendly.

I was also looking at upgrading to Apple Car Play but after reading the reviews I felt for not it wasn't worth it. Still some bugs in the system from what I can tell.

I am in the same boat. For what it would cost to add Bluetooth to my 08 model Alpine stereo, I can buy a new stereo with Bluetooth built in. I've been looking at Alpine, Kenwood, and Pioneer mainly.

Right now (still not 100%) I'm leaning towards the pioneer 5200nex. I'm still trying to determine all the difference between the 5200,6200,7200,etc to decide if the extra cost is worth it.
