New CB Install!

Hey guys, just got my Cobra 29LX installed a couple weeks ago. Getting less than 1.5SWR on all channels stock. I put it in the cubby hold in a '05 Chevy 1500. I'll get a pic of the antenna setup tomorrow!

I haven't gotten to test how far my Tx is, but my Rx was getting over 100miles while I was going up I-81 to Canada last week, of course it also depended if I was on top of a mountain or not, lol.

Im wondering how did you get the cable outside did you make a hole though the cab can you post pictures of the cable that's the only thing holding me back? I was thinking of placing my antenna right in the center of the bed right behind the cab. I have a Escort radar detector but I just want one to hear what the truckers out there are up to and if they can pick up a DPS before I do.

On the back of my cab, there's a little cover thing that covers up an opening. That opening is directly behind the back seat (Ext Cab). Then the cable was ran under the door jam
