So it was in the shop getting a checkover, its been rolling around for 30k kilometers with only oil changes and when the mechanic was under hood the Positive air shutoff valve started smoking, he apparentley nearly burnt his hands when trying to remove it..., the wires cnnecting it were all melted and the loom was melted aswell, the housing in which the windings were in was cracked (thats where the smoke came out...)

So our company has lost on vehicle previously to a related fire about 3-4 years ago, so lucky we wern`t at site working cause that would be bad!!!!

Anyways my first reaction to hearing the new was "did you let it burn?" but of course no they didn`t. But I must say this truck has been extremely tough for whats its gone through, I have heard that a couple of new dodges (R4500s) are in development and coming up north so fingers crossed i can get into one!

OH and so I took the day off, and burt the Sh** out of my neck and back, what a dumbass, it was about 32c (90f) here and i was outside hauling water....

As long as there isn't much humidity im good. I hate humidity.

I here yah, I visited florida one time and the humidity is un-bareable! yuk!
I'd stay away from Louisiana. We hoveraround 100% - 110% humidity year round. :D

oh and my fuggin AC went out yesterday. :fume::(
It may be hard to stop a Trane, but once its stopped, its a bitch to get going again. :fingertime:
