Hello all, Sorry I haven’t been posting much again. I’ve been busy working, planning my wedding in hopes my dad would make (10/16/21) and helping my mom with my fad. Sadly, he did not make it to my parents anniversary or my wedding. We found out in late March that he had colon cancer which metastasized to his lungs. The doctors told us he only had a few weeks to maybe a few months with us. Hearing that from the doctors was a shock. Just now typing this is making me cry because they were right he only had a couple of weeks. My dad got out of the hospital on April 4 th and the hospice began that Monday. We told all our family and friends to come see him because we weren’t sure how long he would be with us. He passed away on April 26 th early in the morning. My mom was sleeping on the couch besides him but she sleeps like a rock. I didn’t want him to be in pain so even though it hurts. I rather he went peacefully. He will be cremated and I will be wearing a Celtic cross with his ashes inside around my neck on my wedding day. We will also have a bagpiper at my wedding in honor of my dad. I love you daddy. Til we meet again.
