Maersk Alabama Lifeboat

[Bigredmariner]

Got an email from a buddy the other day, his ship is transporting the Maersk Alabama's lifeboat back to Florida. I thought since I just watched the news on Fox and they talked about it, I figured it was safe to share with my TMC family.

The ship is hauling the lifeboat from the Maersk Alabama back to the States for display in the UDT Seal Museum in Fort Pierce Florida. Quite a few bullet holes.

SEALS FTW.

No I didn't see it, but I had enough email traffic running across my desk that I probably didn't miss a whole lot. I'll keep my eye out for the program though, thanks.

:thimbs: Thats cool!

Too cool. What a slick lifeboat rig... IF you aren't being targeted by snipers.

Think about the looks you'd get launching that at your marina. FTW!!

i think they use the same deals for offshore rigs, for bailing out in an emergency.... or raiding a beach....

That's pretty sweet. Thanks for sharing.
