Not really. I might get one of those ladder racks from Lowes if I, for some crazy reason, get a canoe over 12 feet. Right now my 12 foot kayak fits just fine.
My next project is installing a second battery that is isolated for the stereo so that I dont drain my cranking battery when I'm out by the river. I just got a 400 amp Harley Davidson Motorcycle battery today and the know-how to wire everything up. Battery location is what I'll be working on tomorrow. I can't seem to fit that battery in any good locations.
My other project is remounting my rear facing lights. I'll need them more than ever now that I have a tinted back window. Luckily I made a bracket years ago that has been riding around in my tool box. I just need some small lights and to re-run the wiring.
Yep, everything there is for a reason. I see too many guys with lifts and mud terrains and other tricked out trucks who never get off the pavement. Meanwhile my 2wd is beating ricer drifters at their own game out on the dirt roads...the new custom off road tune just makes me faster while doing it
My girlfriend complains that I'm too practical. I cut a notch in my flip flop so I could use it to prop up my fishing rod while I was sitting on the bank fishing. I feel like $12 is too much for two pieces of molded rubber that dont even stay on your feet. So I made it worth that price by adding another use.
