It is. Different scenarios in different parts of the country. Here in WA, the panic has been strong for a month, so we got to see all of the hoarding, etc first. The rest of the country just thought it was crazy.
The new normal. I am sick of it.
You all will be, too. Stay safe.
Last year we moved to a more rural part of NJ. Was one of the best decisions of my life at the time for many reasons.... this past month has made it even moreso. As crazy as things are, no ones is traveling to go grocery shopping in our small town. It still gets crowded and people are hoarding, but seemingly to a lesser degree here.
That is good. I have been losing my faith in humanity watching people at the grocery store fight over toilet paper.
It make me sad.
I haven't seen any fighting over anything. The last time I was at the store, everyone actually seemed nicer and MORE patient than normal. People were pausing to let other people pass, acknowledging one another's presence, smiling, etc.
Most of the time, everyone was in a rush and the attitude seemed to be "everyone else was in their way."
Looks like another 30 days.....
We went up over 2500 + cases since yesterday. Im sure we will brake 10,000 cases tomorrow.
I never thought I'd see anything like this in my lifetime. My gut tells me that we'll probably never see the normalcy of everyday life that we were once accustomed to again. It's flippin' sad.
I knew we would brake 10,000 cases today.
