Well, with the move we ran out of storage space and since we can launch a boat and whatever from our back yard, I needed to get the SUP's and Kayak out of the garage. So I built this. No vinyl siding so no worries about not getting around to completing that. "Jeff". Just need to wait for the wood to dry and then paint to match the shed. Basically came off the shed 7' and it is just under 12' wide. I was lucky and didn't have to cut the tin. Just got 4 sheets of tin and it worked out great.

Freaking lumber is expensive. The total for materials for this little project is $900. Crazy.

    Looks good Nick!
You ain't kidding about the price of lumber. That shit is up in price by 400%. A 2x4 up here is $8 a piece. A sheet of OSB is just under $40...it was less than $8 before the plandemic hit. A buddy of mine just bought three 10 foot treated 2x12's, and it came up to $145. That's insane!

At least here building is going wild. Not sure how one can afford to build a new home, or at least the builder to make any money if they don't extend the cost. Major apartment complexes are popping up all over the place. Now the roads don't have the infrastructure to handle it all and we will be in a traffic gridlock real soon.

They're building here as well, but I've been doing old work. I haven't done any new work in a year. The average increase in new housing has gone up anywhere from $28k to more than $60k just for the lumber.
