I have Dell Inspiron 1150, service tag 5t12q51

Looking to max out the memory but the owners manual says 266mhz. Whats in there is 333 mhz 2700 pc2. Which do I go by?

Since the motherboard only supports 266MHz its probably just downclocking the 333MHz to 266Mhz. That's got to be atleast a 10 year old laptop so the available memory might be limited.

I can get it in 333mhz or 266mhz from newegg but its limited on the 266mhz though. I have more of selection on the 333mhz.

The 333MHz will *probably* work but will only run at 266MHz.
