Personally... and this is just my OPINION... I think it would be a big waste of money...
The intake system you have "NOW" is COLD AIR... the K&N is "NOT" cold air...
Agreed, your IAT's will be higher than the stock intake so you might notice some KR until at highway speeds. What the K&N does is just provide a better flowing intake without the stupid baffles of the stock.
Agreed... but on a stock 4.3 V6... it won't do any good... except make a little more noise when you stand on it...... to make you "THINK" you are actually going faster ...

I have been considering getting a K&N drop in filter and an Airraid tube for the Suburban. Isn't that what Tobias did on his Tahoe?![]()
