Intermediate Steering Shaft on '02 Silverado

My dad has an '02 Silverado and the other day you could notice the feel in the steering wheel indicative of the ISS going bad. I thought there was a TSB or recall of some kind on this but I can't seem to find anything about it. I was hoping one of you had the info I need before he goes and spends $200 to get it fixed.

JUST do yourself a favor.. for the love of god.. and when you have it out.. do NOT spin the steering wheel. cause then you will have broken the clock spring.. and the airbag light will be on. and you will be spending more money. lol

lol... im just making sure you are aware of that. alot of people think its fun to spin the wheel freely for some stupid reason.. and i just laugh. dont even say a thing lol
