Installed a sound system for a bud this past Sunday.. Got me wanting a little more thump in my truck...

I heard this thing in a VW and it sounded like 2 12's I like how your system can pound in smaller closures!

I've been looking at that very unit for my Jeep. Does it really rock?

I've seen a bunch on Ebay pretty cheap.

I have a nice head unit in the Jeep with some MB Quart speakers. Sub outs from the HU should work great with the Basslink. I've never heard one though.

Brian you think those would be able to fit under your back seat? I'm sure the back seat in my burban has about the same amount of room under it as your crew cab back seats. I would like to put a woofer on each side under my back seats so I wont take up any of my cargo area.

I have installed a few of those for friends and they are more than competent for filling in some decent bass. We installed one on my buddy's pontoon a couple of years ago and it even did a decent job in open space.

It's nice because it's so simple. High or low-level hookups and integrated amp. There are several companies who make similar ones. These are kind of bulky though so it'll have to sit out in the open. Kenwood made a slimmer, wider one that might fit under the back seats though. Maybe.

I've no real world experience with this one though.

The Basslink will NOT fit under his seats. I had one here that I tried to install in the Sierra and it wasn't even close.

Jim, here's a link to comparison of the older Kenwood unit and the Basslink but it'll give a decent review on the Basslink at least.

We picked two of these up for $60 each when they were clearing them out at our local Best Buy. That was a good day. :D
