So what tune are you going to use?

It plays a 30 second clip then loops until the key is pulled or the headlights are shut off ..
The tune I have in it at the moment is ....

Can change it if I get tried of hearing it to something else or write my own program to download in it.

Could pull a 30 second sound clip from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" ...

Or ....

It's whatever turns ya on ..

If I went that route, I'd have to use the lead guitar from Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd

Been busy with installing the new oil pan ...

The whole idea with acquiring this pan was to be able to run the motor mount to trans strut rods ..
These bad-boys adds a little beef to the driveline ...
Starter side was a plug & play deal ...

Oil filter side not so !
The strut rod was playing tag with the corner of the pan ...
Didn't want to go sawing on the brand new hi-dollar pan .. No Sir
But in order to add the beef, I did ..

About 3/4" needed to be gone ...

Didn't loose much oil capacity, not that it would matter much cause the pan is a 7 qt. add the monster oil filter's 1.5 qt = 8.5 total ..

Some work in the cosmetic department and it will be ready for the long ride ...

You sure have had your share of obstacles with this build.

Do think the thought GM engineers had for the motor to transmission struts was to control flex between the two ...

A lot of discussion on the use of these so called torque rods ..
I can't see them moving around enough to hit the oil filter or the pan ..

But I will keep a eye on em ..

I'm still working on the rod that ties the NP203 transfer case to the trans bell housing ..
Acquired a Oem rod that came off of a 4X4 truck running a THM350 trans ..
With what my gig has going on it's getting extended bout 6 inches ..

Most likely these rods would be considered overkill, but GM did put them on for a good reason I suppose ??
