Heavy Metal Red Neck
I have a 2002 Extended Cab Silverado 4 wheel drive with a 4L60E transmission. The problem is "which one"?
As my previous thread stated I blew 3rd gear. Several people I know have good used ones BUT, they aren't sure if they're "the right one". Even though they came out of same year (or close to) and model the say there are "x" amount of variables (Tail piece length and electronic plug size).
How true is this?
If this is true is there a number (s) on the transmission id that will distinguish this or will I have to pull tape on it?
