i like side exit

looking for a new exhaust in about 3 months. want to go with dual side exit....would be great if it was before the rear tire. magnaflow has a setup for this, and flowmaster has one with a pipe exiting out of each side. does anyone have these setups? can you provide some knowledge please?? everyone is welcome to chime in....

I think gibson has those setups aswell, don`t know a whole bunch about them but they do look pretty kick ass, and have heard a few, they definatley sound good.

my friend had a gibson, but his rusted out in about 5-6 years

i been thinking custom as well. maybe buying some headers and running true dual...but really not sure if that will help performanc any at all. or just get some headers, run single in/dual out....and have some place custom bend so i can have exits out each side.

I got the Flowmaster Single in Dual out, I like it, sounds good. It exits out the side after the tire though.

I was thinking about going side exit with my exhaust. The only thing I am scared of is that since I am pretty low, I would tear the sh*t out of it when I go over speed bumps. I'll have to take some measurements.

I had my side exits on my 65 chev custom bent, it allows you to choose where it exits to make sure its the right look......And my 86 will have stacks with flapper caps..
