Curious, do you still have a "regular" bulb socket in the harness? I mean, did you adapt to the ballast? I was just wondering if it would light a standard bulb without issue.

Mine was actually the wiring right after the bulb, not the bulb itself. The harness and everything was fine, just before it plugs into the harness made the light go on and off intermittently.

I havent done the AHL mod yet but my headlights started to flicker when I hit a big bump and then going down the road tonight the lows completely shut off for a good 5 seconds. Im going insane

What brand of ballasts are you using?

You should be using a relay harness anyway, unless you've got the low current, very slow warm up ballasts, the current spike from the HID's firing can damage factory wiring.

I'd ground your ballasts directly to the battery, or make your own ground to the frame, instead of using the factory ground.
