No, that's fine. I'd rather learn the right way.

So basically, you use small heatshrink on the individual wires and then put a larger one over the entire "joint"?

So basically, you use small heatshrink on the individual wires and then put a larger one over the entire "joint"?

You can use a larger one to cover the soldered connection, you won't need to individually cover them.

You can use a larger one to cover the soldered connection, you won't need to individually cover them.

Or use t-taps... quick and easy. Haven't had issues with my setup yet (no rattles/loss in power). The connection is surprisingly good too IMO.
