So decided to finally get a set, the wife has a pair of 35w 6000k ddm tuning in her jeep. Bought almost 3 years ago, np. One just went out recently and will be warrantied. Im looking at getting the 5000K and should I go with 35w or 55w? I have aftermarket headlights, so concerned with the headlight assembly melting. Their the same size as the oem ones, was told not a issue with ddm tuning but on the safe side go with the 35w or 55w will be ok? Since i need 9005 for high and H11 for lows I need two kits. I was told I also need their hid harness for 10 bucks more. It comes out to 52.00 per set plus shipping. Anyone have any recommendations on sellers on ebay etc or just stick with ddm tuning since they have lifetime warranty on their kits? thank you

ps. only switching to hids now because my ccfls for high and low stopped working so its like oem lighting now.

I'm no expert on them whatsoever.

Good to see you drop by though!

Thanks guys, good to see you too! :) I think ill stick with ddm, my only concern is 35w or 55w. I would like to get the 55w but I dont want my headlight lens to warp/melt. I mean since its a big headlight I wouldnt think so but that would cause a bigger mess if it does. I read on one post they could. So trying to see if anyone else has the 55w and np?
