So my dad passed leaving me an 86 f250 with a 460. He swapped a 454 tbi system into it out of what i think was a 90 chevy pickup. Im banging my head against the wall trying to find a intermittent short in the turn signal that pops the fuse for the turn signal even if there not on. When it happens, i can hear the flasher clicking fast and the high pressure fuel pump kicking on and off, and weirder the injectors pulse till the fuse/breaker pops. If i keep resetting the breaker it pops the fuse for the brake lights. If the emergency flasher it on it wont replicate the issue. There are two trailer plugs one at the bumper one at front of bed.

Im half tempted to light this frankenstein truck of mismatch wire and electrical tape on fire and roll it down a hill but its all i have to haul water. I have been banging my head against the wall for over a year. When it happens i only have so long to check stuff before it stops.

I would check all ground wires to see if that was the problem. Then again, I'd probably enjoy torching it and rolling it down a hill. :D
