Quick question needing some quick info. Trying to figure out if the new set i got gave me everything thats really needed. my new headers and ypipe have no threads at the 3bolt connect. all i got were some studs, with nuts to go on one end. this isn't adding up to me. puttin the stud through and the nut on one end isn't going to tighten down. might have factory nuts somewhere if they is indeed factory nuts. need help, trying to get this done today again. and shop opens at 0800. let me know if you got any info
thanks

Agreed.

There shouldn't be a problem using bolts with a non-welded nut on the other end. It will still clamp down, but the problem comes from the vibrations causing them to loosen.

I'm not entirely sure, but I might have bolts and nuts like this on my entire exhaust system. Not sure if there are lockwashers or not either. :dunno:

Well that's not good. :ohnoes:

Are you planning on fixing it right away or are you having some work done on the exhaust?

yea not very good at all. exhaust is complete, not including the cool flames. gotta get back to the hobby shop and try to get the alignment correct. maybe this week or next weekend.
