I started to notice a weak floor, while on vacation in Oregon last June, between the tub and toilet. Finally got around to investigate it yesterday, gotta get ready for our annual trek to the desert T'Day weekend.

After taking three to four hours taking shit apart we(with the help of a friend)finally got the tub out(toilet was easy). It looks like water had been getting in thru an external light fixture that was put there to hook up the trailer in the dark, good and sealed now with silicone.I'll be re-sealing the outside trim also. Now we have to replace the wood floor & vinyl floor,Fun :jester:

It looks like you're getting it fixed up. OSB turns to shit almost immediately wants it starts getting wet. That crap will really get moldy quick to.

That's partly how I found out how bad it was...I was taking a shower and noticed a little ''give'' in the tub

No fun working in tight places. At least you caught it before it got worse and had damage to the tub or other parts of the trailer.

When I was growing up, my dad bought two campers that were in wrecks from the insurance company and fixed them up. Got them for cheap and did all the work on them himself. Of course he added extra strength in places he felt that needed it. I would guess the camper weighed a lot more when he was done than it did when it was new.

Yep,prolly. The mfgrs.make these things with light weight materials to save on weight.Sometimes it backfires and a few years later the current owner has to deal with it.I see a couple of places where I intend to make it stronger and be more water tight.

Doesn't look a terribly hard job at least. The new OSB they are selling at the big stores is made with a polymer based bonding agent. Old OSB was just glued together. Water has almost no effect on the new stuff.
