I'm sure most of you have already seen my write ups on how to convert your interior switches to LED's. I did my instrument cluster, my power window and lock switches, my headlight switch, and my AC control panel. I did some write ups on GMFS as well. People have been asking me if they could mail me their switches for me to do them since they didn't feel comfortable soldering. A member send me the switches from his 99 Silverado to do in blue LED's just like I did mine, and here is how they came out.

Heres the headlight switch, with flash and without.

Heres the cargo light switch:

And heres the Drivers power lock, window, and mirror switches.
With flash:

And without the flash:

And here the passenger side switch panel:

And last but not least, the AC/heat control panel.
Without flash, with lights on:

And still no flash, but in total darkness this time:

So?? What do you think of the final results of my hard work???

So are you starting up a service to install LED's ? Sounds like a little way to make some money on the side.

looks good! I am guessing the camera is making these lights look a lot brighter than they are right? they look pretty damn bright in a few of those pics

The most accurate pic is the AC panel taken with no flash, but the lights on in the room. All the no-flash pics taken in the dark look WAAY brighter than they actually are. This is about how bright all of the switches actually look. The camera pics up a lot of glare for some reason.

If people are willing to pay me, and I have the time to do it, then I'll be glad to do some more. Since I posted the write up's on GMFS, I've had probly 12-15 people ask me if I'd do theirs, but this is the first guy who actually came thru. I guess the others felt my price was too high. But considering what the LED's cost, the resistors, heat shrink, solder, the return shipping, and of course my time and labor, I'm actually only making about $60 off of about 2 days of work. :dunno:

I don't think that is to much for that amount of work.
