GMT-900 intake?

Is there any reason an intake off an 08 wouldn't fit on my 10? I am looking at S&B kit and they have one listed for 07& 08 1500's but nothing for 09 or 10.

I ended up with the Volant, and after the BB tune it was fine. There were some MAJOR fitment issues with my HD and Volant was no help.

There were also issues with sensor fitment in the new pipe, but if you follow the instructions to the letter, all is okay.

You MUST have a custom tune for the Volant, don't try it without.

I am totally happy with it after the tune, and after my modifications for fitment on my HD. It fits fine on the 1500s without issue

Do they all have the tune requirement with them? Just e-mailed S&B to see if they have a kit in development for my truck. I have had really good luck with my previous 3 trucks running S&B's so I will go that route if I can.

Other option I was looking at tonight is an afe. I like the dry filter option.

No requirement, but reccomended. For sure with the Volant, no matter what they say

The cool thing about the Volant is the PowerCore dry filter

Will have to look into it if it has a dry filter. Never been a fan of oiled filters as I always seem to mess it up.

I am planning on an Autocal from BB but didn't know if I had to get both at the same time or if I could do one at a time. Don't want to waste one of the 4 retunes just for an intake though. Wish I could just get intake, full exhaust, cam and tune all at once but I has no money.
