OK here's my question, how easy is it to take the covers off of my mirrors?
I want to paint the covers white to match my truck but should I try to remove the covers or just leave them in place and mask off the rest of the mirror assembly. Just thought maybe somebody has done this before and can offer some feedback for me. Let the opinions flow here.:dunno:

OK since nobody on here had any input I jumped in with both feet tonight. Well also armed with a screwdriver. Those pesky covers are held onto the mirror with double sided tape, there was 4 clips also but they gave me no trouble at all. I got the drivers side off and will pop the passenger side off tomorrow when the temp gets up to loosen the tape. Gonna be 105 tomorrow so temp should be no prob. I started sanding the cover tonight and will sand some more tomorrow before I paint it. Thanks for the input.:jester:

Make sure to take pictures and post up a how-to! Someone might need some input some day. :D
