GM folding mirror question

Any of you guys ever worked on the power folding mirrors on a GMT900?

My passenger side mirror is not folding. When I hit the button I can hear the motor turning but the mirror does not move. I have no idea how to tear them apart but I am willing to give it a shot if some one can tell
Me where to start or if I can find some info.

Try to fold it in manually then reset it to normal position. I have had them get knocked in the parking lot and do that.

Both of my mirrors are jacked up. My drivers side I bumped into and it no longer folds in or out and my passenger side will "self-adjust" itself when I hit the key fob but it adjusts to look at the person directly beside me. I had the passenger mirror replaced under warranty once.

I am going to watch this one....

I'll give that a try. This just started tonight.

The worst part is its my passenger side that I have to fold to comfortably fit into my garage.

I tried and it's still a no go. At one point it acted like it wanted to go out and stopped. I pulled the back of the mirror off and you can't easily get to the motor.
