I want to upgrade to a LUX amp. Seems pretty easy to do.

My question, is there such a thing as a lux head unit and a non-lux head unit? Or can I keep my stock HU and only replace the amp.

I am not interested (at this time) in installing the factory nav system...I just want the amp and far superior sound.

Don't waste your time; even the amp with the Bose system isn't that great. Aftermarket would be WAY better!
