Use the lowest pressure you can. Assuming you are using some sort of cleaner (Purple Power, Simple Green, etc.) you should not need the pressure to get things clean. The more pressure you use, the more likely you are to F something up.

I'm just using plain ol water. I don't want to do this at home because I know lots of grease/dirt will be washed out. Lots of members said they do this regularly so I think it'll be good. And I don't plan on aiming it in the sensitive spots :p

Be quick about it. Obviously you don't want to stay in one spot with high pressure on the electronic components. You shouldn't have any problem. I do it all the time and have for years..

Well it dried off..

Still dirty but the loose grease/dirt came off. I'll go buy the degreaser and clean it tomorrow! I'll put the pics up later on.

I used Simple Green for the first time over the weekend on the Acura. It worked great. Sprayed it on, let it set for about 3 min, and hozed it off with the garden house. I was really impressed with the outcome.
