General Motors wants to snuff out "Chevy" nickname

If Gm does anything they should get rid of the GMC name.

no they should get rid of the Chevy name o wait they already did. but seriously this is stupid, why? Everyone knows Chevy is short for Chevrolet. and if not who cares and how can they compare it to coke?

Well I heard rumors in the future that GM is getting rid all brand names except Chevy. There going to stick to one name on everything like ford does. Example: Chevy Sonoma, Chevy Lasabre, Chevy regal, etc.
