I'm now on Medicare,officially old.
I'd love to connect my laptop to you truck, you don't live in SoCal do you?
Watch this vid,it's what I see when I have my lappy connected...John,you might like this

Upper left corner is the O2 sensor.I had just started the burb after sitting overnight so the O2's signal is fairly constant(O2's cold),after it gets to normal op. temp those numbers will range from 100s or so to over 800(those #s being read in milliseconds)and constantly going up and down.At some point, when it's warm enough the ECM will go into Closed Loop and read those numbers and adjust fuel accordingly. When in Open Loop the ECM is using a pre-determined set of numbers to run the truck, much like a choke works on a carb'd engine.
Watch the battery voltage(lower left corner),you'll see when I start the engine via the battery voltage drop.
I've watched my big block many times and it goes into CL about 140 so John's close with 150.
I think I'm close on this explanation
