I have a set of white gauge cluster needles from a 2000 Denali. Should fit all 95-00 GMT400 gauge clusters. You can grab em for only $20 shipped. (In the US.)

You have to cut the face of the cluster off with a jigsaw, use a fork to remove the old one, push the new ones on, then duct tape the cluster back together. Pretty easy.
