SO how did the meet up go?

Unfortunately to say, he passed. I guess the pictures are too good. I generally think it's in really good shape with no rust, good tires, mechanically sound and only a couple little scrapes. We shampooed all the carpeting but you can see that it had a family in it. Nothing out of the ordinary for a vehicle that's 11 years old.

I dropped the price on CL to $6950. I get a lot of stupid offers like, owner financing(told them they can come get it when all the payments are made), a trade for a 2002 Acura RL at 100k miles and a 2006 F150 XL V6.

Not that the car trades are all that bad but my Dad rather have cash. He's not looking for another vehicle.

We were saying that $6500 is where we want to be on price but no one is even interested to haggle.

I don't understand why people would be trying to get a loan when they haven't even seen the vehicle. Much less a loan for just 6500.

If $6,500 is such a pittance, why don't you buy it from him so he can have the cash and then you can just park it out in the woods or something?

Thought about it but I would like to do some house renovations this spring. I would rather not get too many more cars or equipment sitting in the woods, if you know what I mean.
