Hi everyone, i own a 2008 f-150 lariat that is white with gold. Does anyone know a super rough estimate of how much it would cost to have the gold (body, fender flares and bumpers) painted white to match the primary color? thanks

Welcome to :tmc:
I don't have an answer for you, but I'm sure some can help. Put up a post in the intro section and put in some pics of your truck.

Re: ford f150 lariat paint

Welcome to :tmc:

I am not sure what it will cost for the paint, paint and body work seems to vary widely from shop to shop. I know a guy on one of the Ram forums I am on had his lower 2 tone painted to match, and I think he said it was around $1500. He works at a dealership, though, and had the work done there so I don't know what kind of breaks they may have given him.

Hopefully someone else might have a better idea. Post up some pics and specs of your truck when you get a chance.

Re: ford f150 lariat paint

thanks! thats better than nothing. I need to call a body shop and ask, but im moving next week from vegas back to virginia. So ill just wait til im all settled in heh

yea, the gold just isnt cutting it anymore, im getting ready to do some exterior upgrades to my truck in the future and NOTHING goes with gold, plus i really hate chrome, so it will give me a reason to replace all exterior chrome with black, and make future add ons much easier as i can just simply buy black!

Assuming your truck is painted like the pic below, I'd think a decent body shop could color match the two tone parts for 12-1500 dollars. That's taking them off and refinishing them correctly.
