At the moment I have super 40s on my truck. They're great for an old muscle car or something that's not daily freeway driven like my truck.

They sound great and all but the drone is awful to the point that I have to scream at my girlfriend to talk to her

Is there a muffler on this earth that has a good full throttle tone but doesn't drone
And that is cheap

I know that's a lot to ask for but surely muffler technology has advanced some:loser:D

On the cheap side, I would try sticking a Magnaflow resonator behind the Slowmaster. That will likely take care of most of the drone and leave a lot of the sound.

This.

I had a magnaflow and it droned like a mofo, but I have no cats, LTs and the Whipple. What truck do you have? I still have it sitting around and can let it go for a good deal if your interested.

There is much more into the design of the exhaust than just the muffler.

You could also add a helmholtz resonator tube.

Should fit if you have the short bed. Not sure of shipping cost from Lafayette.

Its got about 10K miles on it. Nothing wrong with it, just didn't meet my needs when I went supercharged.

Both Jegs and Summit racing offer their own brand of mufflers. I believe they have sound clips on youtube.
