Well I changed out the front diff fluid on our 2016 Suburban and it didn't look normal, but from all the reading on line it seems that it is. Here is what it looked like when I changed it out at 7k total miles on it. I sent a sample off to Blackstone to have it checked and this is what came back. Just and FYI

I remember changing the front diff fluid in one of my Silverados quite a few years ago, and it looked that way. I don't know what they use from the factory, but it must be "normal".

Your Titanium is high.
:D2

It must have come from Colorado.

I hate it when my truck sheds precious metals! :D2

Honestly, I have read 10,000 samples for large diesels, Allison transmissions, etc in the last 20 years, and this is the first time I have seen Titanium.

Besides wear metals, we are always looking for silicate, and sodium
