Any particular reason your builder went with 410 cubes rather than the popular 408?

i bought a used block which was already bored .030 over, when the block was prepped i got a call and was told i needed to come check the block out, i thought the worse lol but it wasnt the case, i asked what was wrong on the phone and my builder told me he didnt like the piston fit that there was to much slop between the piston and the bore, i asked reccomendations? he mentions it might be ok, i basically said im not into might be ok so bore it .040 and make sure its right.. so basically the bore had to much slop so we bored it another .010 ..
