    I'm working on an 03 F150 supercrew . It won't start . Windows don't work , Radio don't work .Keeps blowing fuses .
Fuse # 18 under hood = powertrain control module, fuel injectors, fuel pump relay, mass air flow sensor
Fuse # 104 under hood = central junction box

Fuse #1 under dash = audio
Fuse # 3 under dash = cigar lighter, data link connector
Fuse # 15 under dash = stop lamp switch , ( speed control , brake shift interlock ) GEM module, RABS module (sometimes can smell wires getting hot when that one blows )
Fuse #22 under dash = air bag module, passenger airbag deactivation module

If I unhook computer it won't blow fuses under hood but as soon as I hook it back up it blows fuse #1 .

I removed computer and took it apart , no visual problems and no burnt smell .

    Steps taken so far
    Under hood
    Checked all grounds and battery
    unhooked all injectors
    unhooked all COP's
    unplugged mass air flow

    Inside
    Unplugged PATS module
    Pulled instrument cluster
    Removed radio
    Unplugged BCM above fuse box
Pulled fuse box out and unplugged both wiring harnesses = not blowing fuse #18 under hood with computer hooked up .
Hooked plug back up same results
Hooked other back up and back to blowing fuse #18 under hood .

got late and stopped for the night .

    Anyone have any Ideals ??
    What next ??
I have several parts trucks to use any sensors , computer, fuse box etc. off of .
I'm aware that I have to use corresponding Key and tumbler, cluster, PATS and computer to make it run . ( Been there and done that numerous times during cab swaps and other issues )

My guess would have been a bad ground, but you said you checked that. Did you check the ground from the engine to the frame? A friend of mine had a 2002 F250 and it died on him on the freeway. Turned out it was the ground.

I can't remember, but doesn't a Haynes or a Chiltons repair manual have schematics for wiring? :dunno:
