Dome Override Switch Light Question

Got a dome override light that is burned out or something. And im wondering how to get it out?

Now on the back there is a female power jack to i guess power this light and it has what looks like 2 (im also guessing) leads off of the light. How do i get those off and maybe rewire a new one back in???

That last pic is a socket I believe. Turn it with a flat blade screwdriver to the left gently and the bulb and housing should come out.

I'm not so sure that there is an actual light bulb in that pushbutton switch. I don't recall mine ever being lit and I have had my '06 since brand new. The 2 leads are more than likely contact points for the switch itself.

Zembonez is correct, that is a socket. Take a small flat head and turn it counter-clockwise about 1/4 of a turn. You should feel a click, then you can pull it out. You can replace it with a NEO4 LED too.

For real? The pushbutton is supposed to be lit?

Not the push button itself, but everything that is white and to the left of the dimmer control should be lit up by that bulb.

Oh ok, I got that, I guess the pics had me a little misled. I thought he was thinking the actual pushbutton was lit. My mistake, carry on..
