Do HIDs get dim over time?

yeah they do, i had mine for a 18 months now, they are getting bluer and dimmer

i bought my self a quad 50w setup that uses projecturs to minimize light glare

Mine didnt get dim.

Usually won't notice anything until at least 100 - 200 hours... Sometimes more, sometimes less, depends on bulb quality.

They might dim a little bit, but they'll also color shift, which will also affect light output.

I knew about the color-shift, but I didn't think they dimmed. Oh well, they're still WAY better than halogen!!

you get what you pay for, denso/philips for 300$ isnt like a ddm kit for 50$
