That's actually the method I use :thumbs:

Except I do

Tires first
Then rinse truck
Then wash truck starting from top to bottom like suggested working my way around, grille and bumper last, rinsing after every large section
Then dry truck
Then wash my wheels and rinse using soft spray so I don't get the truck wet again.

I don't like to wash my wheels first because is a huge amount of chrome and I don't like waterspots to form while I'm doing the truck.

Lots of times I'll wash in the dark though, in the driveway by floodlight. No water spots then!
