DeeZee nerf bars

Does anyone know if there is a way to determine what application DeeZee nerf bars are for? It seems like I got the right hardware but not the right bars. It was a second hand purchase, and I got the hardware from DeeZee, but the bars themselves arent going on right. They are exactly the right length, but the bolts don't fit, and it seems like they stick out farther than they should from the sides of the truck.

So, I'm trying to figure out if they just got tapped with the wrong size hole, or if they aren't actually the part number i was told they were. The numbers on the bars don't correspond with a part number, so I'm just wondering if there is another way to tell what they should fit.

Are Deezee nerf bars good ones? A close friend is getting a bull bar and a nerf bar for his 2001 silverado came from a small company that parts out. These are good looking one's left so we thought to ask if someone here have them on their truck and how was it.. I was comparing it to the available pics on the net and they really looks good and reliable, I saw couple on:

I had a set of the tube style that bolt to the truck using the cab mounts. They were absolute junk. They would pop and creak, and the finish faded and chipped quickly. I swapped them with a set of N-fab steps and never looked back.
