Got a day off the Monday after Halloween. We had a Harvest Fest at our church and I worked all week straight. Instead of getting some rest I did what any self respecting BBQ fanatic would do...I smoked! Had a few friends come over. Cooked baby back ribs, chicken, Chuck roast, scotch eggs and apples in the smoker. Cuban pork and chicken in the Charbroil Big Easy. It was my first cook in my new Masterbuilt Smokehouse XL. Second one I've owned. First one needs some TLC, it still works but I got this one on special and saved $80 on it so couldn't pass it up.

Pre heating small peach wood splits, yes one is in the water pan. No water.

Didn't get any pics after we served. Scotch eggs went in last in the smoker so no pics of those either. Wife made mac & cheese and our friends brought home made bread. Apples were pretty awesome. Pre heating the wood has worked out really well. I gotta make these apples more often. Thanks for lookin guys! :spoon::tmc:

I'm a bit slow, are you referring to the size of the smoker? :dunno:
