Dad's new truck

My dad bought a 2009 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL super crew, long bed, 4X4, 5.4L, 3.73s, 17" steel wheels, electric shift-on-the-fly transfer case

Rubber floor, vinyl seats, manual windows and manual locks, manual mirrors, bed-liner and nerf bars are about the only options it has. But it does have a lot of interior room, way more than his 06 F-150 Super Crew or my 06 Sierra.

I know, I know pics or GTFO, but it was raining thias morning, and yesterday my mom was driving the damn thing. Will get pics up as soon as possible, but it ain't much to look at. Hell it even has the black grille, which I kinda like better than the chrome ones.

It is. I've driven one, and it's extremely slow.

Actually it is not that bad, off the line it is a little sluggish, but on the hwy is it great. Plus it is a heavy-ass truck.

It is not any worse than any other 3/4 ton, 4-door, long-bed, 4WD with 3.73s

I would disagree with that.. The 6.0L 2500hd long bed, 4wd with 3.73's shows up with plenty of power...

The 5.4 feels like a dog to me in a F150....

Exactly. Then they put this in a F250.

Go drive a 2009 F-250 with the 5.4, just like my dad's, and then report back to me. It is not a dog, and it feels a lot quicker than the f-150 with the same motor. Gearing is totally different than a 1/2 ton(transmission gears). I am actually driving it today, and I like it, interior, exterior, and doggish motor and all.
