How hard or expensive is it to replace a cv axle for my 91 toyota? Took it through the creek today to test the (Toyota) ability. Well I made it all the way through but broke a cv axle on a cypress stump. 4x4 still works just the boot is busted and popping when I turn. :uhoh: Figured I better fix it now before my tags come in and start driving it lmao.

You should be able to clean out that CV, add grease, and a new boot. It takes a while to kill one.

I think it was in the $150 - $200 range for my old '91 Mazda... Shouldn't be too far off...

Change the fact that was in Canada, and you're looking at $100 or less for the assembly
