the only place i know of that sells a cowl hood for my truck is LMC. and since it's an oversized part, it'll cost atleast $500. can i get one anywhere else cheaper?

I got mine at an auto parts store in town for $400. autobody parts supply joints can get them too.

Or get a used one, craiglist, or try ebay.... I always kept an eye in the clasifieds....

Ebay isn't the best in the world for my truck. but i did get my euro headlights there:thumbs:. craigslist is iffy for me, and so is the classifieds. not too people want to fix up an 84 f150. but i'll check the local AutoZone. i have a rewards card:D2

Not that I know of, 'glass has more of a tendency to crack but hell they look great.

Didn't think about that. but that's the only ram air i've seen for my body style. what to do, what to do...:dunno:

Until you need a cowl hood, stay away from a cowl hood. You truck is slick and would look odd, IMO, with one, especially if there's not enough motor under there to warrant it.
