Has anyone ever bought tires from Costco?

I am in the market for new tires and in Feb I will be driving up to Yosemite. I need tires for all seasons and that have M+S included.

The tires I currently have on my suv are Hankook HT.

Thank you for the recommendations!

Jenny

Costco sells Michelin/Bridgestone/BF Goodrich (they're all the same company, now).

The BFG All-Terrain KO2 has had plenty of good things said about them. Just make sure they get rotated every oil change.

Michelin X-ice if you're looking for a winter only tire.

I am looking for all seasons not just ice tires. My tire and auto place will be rotating the tires and installing new brake pads.

I was looking at a set of Michelin tires.

Michelin's are nice... But they're mostly a highway tire, even their "all terrain" LTX is more suited to highway. You'll be better served with the BFG, especially if there's going to be deeper snow, or any kind of dirt/mud in your driving.

Thanks for the tip. I will look at those then. What BFG tires do you recommend for all seasons? Highway, snow and mud?

I have these on my 02 Silverado and they do well. I have not had much time in snow to say how well they do. Some online say they are good for up to about 3" and some say they suck. :dunno:

They are a great tire otherwise. Nice and quiet and smooth.
