Compaq Presario Keyboard Problem

    You never know, somebody might be able to use this...

    My keyboard took a trip to crazytown tonight. Caps Lock was on randomly, I was selecting text when I didn't want to - all in all things were looking grim. I researched this on the net and found a comment about banging the shift button a couple times. This did not work but I did go around the whole keyboard, smashing each key in a random sequence three or four times - quite hard. The result was an immediate fix. So, if you have the same problem, don't despair - just bang the crap out of each key on the keyboard, and you'll be in good shape.

    In case you're wondering - I am not a rocket scientist - I know this suggested fix is kinda high-brow but I'm really a normal person. No really.

    I've found that turning the keyboard upside down and shakin' the hell out of it can help with those situations, too... Just don't hold it up over your face before you start shakin' it... :lol:



    Ewwww.. That last sentence sounded kinda nasty! :rollin:
