Do you all think they make a huge difference or just a small one? I'm pondering getting one for both my '06 Duramax and my '18 Raptor. What say you...

They make it sound like you have more power under the hood. Back in the day we used to flip the air cleaner lid upside down to let more air in the carb. That made the same sound and gave a boost in performance. I haven't tried a CAI on anything to know what the effects would be.

I have one on my Grand Cherokee and noticed a about a 1 to 1.5 mpg increase on highway driving. Sounds cooler when you get on it too but than all that mpg is out the window.

I’ve got a Banks CAI on my 21 Cummins and it actually made a difference in throttle response and a slight mpg increase…plus the turbo and exhaust brake sounds much better. Lol
