Cobra CB needs PA speaker

so i have a cobra cb for my truck and jeep but neither of them has a PA speaker....and i know those things come in handy.....so anyone know if i am supposed to look for a particular one or?

Radio Shack had some 25 watt Loudspeakers on sale for $20 a little while ago. No idea about it being compatible (got the Northstar CB from a friend with no manual), i just hooked it up and off i went.

I got a cheap one off eBay for like 10 bucks, worked great.

I have one from radio shack they have 2 different models, you'll just need the smaller one. It will come with 2 leads, and you'll have to solder on an extension into the cab. For the plug you have to have a mono plug, not a stereo one, a stereo won't work properly. You can check out my cb Install thread.

Look on ebay so you can see what's out there some seller even has two one for outside and one for inside and the price isn't bad.

My PA just uses a headphone jack. I'm using a wildlife calling speaker. You could probably use a stereo speaker if you wanted.
